Create Your Own Games:

You always wanted to create your own computer games but were prevented to do so cause you lacked the knowledge to make a programme/software. However there are new utilities available in the market that helps Non-Programmers create their own games.

2-D Development Tools:

The most common and easy to use game development platform is MACROMEDIA FLASH.

Combined with the power of Scripting Language, Online Support Communities, Third party tools and Graphics, nothing can beat FLASH in developing attractive, playable games. This will help you to build simple 2-D games. This tool is ideal for Board Games, Puzzles, Mind-Games, Shooting, Races, Scrolling and Chases Games.

3-D Development Tools:

For creating advance games, there are a number of 3-D development tools that let you create the basic structure for the game. You can insert different items in the games using other tools and continue your development. For example there are special character-making tools with 3-D games, which create Humanoids.

3-D Studio Max & Maya:

These can be used to create objects and Animations.

These progammes require no
programming skills but design and visualization skills are necessary, coupled with lots of practice (“practice makes a man/woman perfect”), Patience and will to learn. If you really work hard the end result will be to your satisfaction.

Additionally a working knowledge of Microsoft DirectX and OpenGL will also help through the graphics and coding aspects of Game Development.
